This course develops awareness, judgment, and practical defensive skills for threatening encounters. Training emphasizes recognizing danger early, maintaining personal space, de-escalating conflict, and disengaging when possible.
Supervised exercises introduce protective responses appropriate to the participant's role and training level. Students also learn to consider the consequences of physical intervention, recognize injuries, request assistance, and document incidents.
The program promotes controlled, proportionate responses and responsible decision-making under stress.
